With a Leeds training academy and nine salons in Yorkshire, Westrow’s directors Marc Westerman and Steve Rowbottom were justifiably welcomed into the Hairdressing Hall of Fame in the Business Director of the Year category at the British Hairdressing Business Awards.
The event was hosted on 17 September by Hairdressers Journal International and aims to raise the profile of professional hairdressing as well as recognise talent in the industry. Westrow has won in this category three times, which earned them this both rare and highest of accolades.
The four year old Westrow Academy beat national competitors to win the Training Award for the second time in its short history. The award recognises excellence in education, incorporating skill and vision, which the Academy undoubtedly has, providing training in barbering, hairdressing, management and business for up to 240 students.
