Let’s Do Lunch is a review series written by Stan Graham. All of the establishments visited are done so incognito and without an invite. This way, Stan is treated as any other customer would be.
You’ll find no photographs of Stan on our website, even though he also writes under other categories. There is no point in Googling him either as all you will find are his namesakes, including a folk singer, Canadian politician and a New Zealand mass murderer. As a writer for Leeds Living he is obviously bringing the name into disrepute!
Stan is a native of the City and a veteran foodie who has been dining out in Leeds since his father took him to the Kardomah Restaurant on Briggate in the 1950s, so after sixty years, he has almost completed his apprenticeship. The venues cover as wide a spectrum as possible, both in price range and location, ranging from fine dining through to street food. The object is to provide both visitors and residents, with a guide as to the best – and worst – places to lunch.
Enjoy the reviews, enjoy the lunches and most of all enjoy the great City of Leeds.
