Leeds Rhinos announce Jacuzzi as new club sponsor
Last week, leading rugby league team Leeds Rhinos announced their 2016 sponsor, the popular hot tub manufacturer Jacuzzi. With the team already being fans of their hydro massage products, both parties are excited about the opportunity to work together. The launch event saw Rhinos stars Ryan Hall and Adam Cuthbertson relaxing in a tub in celebration.

Given that Jacuzzi’s UK showroom is located in Leeds and with their hydro massage being a huge hit for the rugby players, Jacuzzi was the perfect choice as club associate sponsor for the Leeds Rhinos team. Player Ryan Hall said of Jacuzzi:

“Unwinding in a Jacuzzi® is often the best moment of my day after a tough training session with the boys. The jets in the tub help prevent my back from becoming sore, which helps to keep me on top form.”

Soaking in a tub can relieving muscle strain and tension, and the use of the products has been incorporated into the team’s physiotherapy and recovery sessions. With many of the players already having their own Jacuzzi hot tubs, the sponsor couldn’t have been a more obvious match.

Jacuzzi is also excited about the collaboration. Their marketing manager Paul Farrell stated:

“We are delighted to be teaming up with the Rhinos during such an important year for them as they prepare to defend their titles. This is a great opportunity for Jacuzzi® to raise our awareness within Leeds and beyond. We’re looking to move away from some industry stereotypes and actually inform people about the very real benefits of hot tubs, but have some fun whilst doing so! They are leaders in the sport of rugby league and we are leaders in hot tubs – we’re excited to be working together.”
