High Definition Group Moves to New HQ in Leeds
October saw the beauty group behind renowned HD Brows brand High Definition, upgrade their premises from a 1500 square foot Pontefract based office to one more than 5 times the size with the relocation to their new bespoke headquarters in Leeds. The move marks their determination to establish themselves further as a main player in the beauty industry and the imminent expansion of the business. With plans in the New Year to open their first set of boutiques in three separate locations, the future is looking bright for High Definition.

If you're not familiar with High Definition, the UK beauty group was founded back in 2008 and comprises high profile, branded education programmes, treatments and products. If you know a thing or two about beauty, however, you may have heard of their award winning treatment which goes by the name of High Definition Brows or formally known as HD Brows. Known throughout the beauty world as the must-have treatment for perfectly defined and envious brows, HD Brows has achieved the status of the UK's number 1 brow treatment with a celebrity following.

The people behind High Definition Group include Co-founder and CEO, Nilam Holmes-Patel who was the driving force behind the brand's expansion to incorporate the 2014 introduction of the best selling makeup range and the launch of boutiques and franchises; Co-founder and Executive Director, Karen Betts, whose businesses also include Nouveau Beauty Group, Nouveau Lashes and her own makeup collection Karen Betts Professional, and Managing Director Joanne Kennedy, who with her experience in management roles in major UK companies, brought her skills in driving business growth to the group in 2013.

Since the group formed 7 years ago, they've grown considerably with a revenue increase of 48% from 2013-2014 with their 2015 figures set to be even higher. It probably comes as no surprise to any of us then that they outgrew their old premises in South Elmsall, the hometown of Karen Betts and with the growth of both the business and the team, they wanted additional space as well as a respected postcode. Since their move to the new headquarters in Admiral House in Rose Wharf, they've already increased their staff by 22% currently employing over 100 people, emphasising just how rapidly the business is growing.

Joanne Kennedy speaks of their new move:

“Our investment in our new HQ creates a foundation on which to build further growth of the High Definition group. We have been able to create a space that not only meets our needs, but also importantly creates a statement about the kind of business we are: ambitious, forward-thinking, and well established, with a timeless, elegant edge.”

Their recent move to new headquarters in Leeds City Centre signifies a step towards achieving their ambitious plans for the future.
