Wake up in style with Morning Gloryville at Belgrave Music Hall
Rise and shine city dwellers as after the successful launch of Leeds' first morning rave earlier this year, the guys behind Morning Gloryville are set to provide yet another fun and invigorating way to kick start your day this October. Delivering three floors of sober-filled entertainment to Belgrave, Morning Gloryville challenges the conventions of society and proves that you don't need to be intoxicated to have a good time.

Founded in the East End of London back in 2013, the exceptional event is already making an impact in 23 cities worldwide from New York to Barcelona, helping to build communities, connect people to both themselves and each other and inject that feel-good factor we all yearn for. Luckily, with the help of organisers Collette Davis and James F Clark, it recently made its way to Yorkshire with 350 of the City’s early birds choosing to start their day in style at February's launch party. 7 months on, a series of early affairs later and episode #6 is creeping our way.

Taking a different stance on the clubbing scene, Morning Gloryville is collaborating with Leeds Laughter Fest to fill the floors of Belgrave with a mini action-packed festival kicking off at dawn. When asked about the choice of venue, Collette said “The Belgrave is the perfect home for Morning Gloryville, with incredible bar staff and can-do people who have supported us in bringing this unforgettable event to Leeds. The three floor format allows us to create a festival vibe, and the garden has been a highlight at every party. We've had tarot, belly dancing classes, reggae yoga and even an Owl demonstration up there. The gig room is the perfect size and the snug bar turns into a beautiful yoga studio that faces the sun as it rises.” Previously attracting a diverse crowd of early-risers from students to parents, with their youngest raver being just 3 months old, Morning Gloryville has been a triumphant success with just about everyone.

So, what can you expect on the morning? Well, for those seeking a health kick, three of Yorkshire's best yogis will be teaching their moves in the 25 mat yoga studio to anyone in need of a morning stretch along with Larna, who will be providing the giggles in her Laughing Yoga session to cheer up even the grumpiest of snooze button-addicts. If relaxation is what you're after, then be sure to book in for one of the many massages on offer. From an Indian Head to a Deep Tissue massage, it's the perfect way to de-stress you for the day ahead. If that's not enough to wake you then the toe-tapping beats are sure to lure you onto the dance floor and with a fantastic DJ line up including Ben Randm and Gavron, and live performances from the likes of Jonny O'Donnell, it surely would be rude not to let loose.

Planning on waking up the people of Leeds “with a whole lot of love, a sensory whirlwind of fun, a drop of caffeine and an unforgettable, immersive dance experience”, it sounds as though Morning Gloryville has something even better in store for episode #6. Something you totally need to check out.

Morning Gloryville Leeds Episode #6 is kicking off at Belgrave at 6.30am – 10.30am on Wednesday 7th October. Babies and kids under 12 are free. Buy your tickets here.
