Dirty Hit Tour – At Key Club on 15 December

The Dirty Hit label’s second UK tour showcases some of their brightest acts, with the tour starting in Cambridge and ending in London on 20 December.

Here are the rising stars:

BEABADOOBEE

I WISH I WAS STEPHEN MALKMUS video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPrw_Nyq88U
This is Beabadoobee’s latest single, released during her 30-date tour of the USA with Clairo.  Her first ever headline show sold out at New York’s Chelsea Music Hall in September.

Beabadoobee (Bea Kristi) was born in the Philippines and brought up in London.  She began recording in 2017 and, still only 19 years of age, she already has a dedicated Gen-Z fan base, arising from flawless output of bedroom pop songs.

Coffee, her first track, saw hundreds of thousands of streams in the matter of just days and ever since, her music has gathered millions of streams between her self-releases and the Dirty Hit releases, Patched Up and Loveworm.  Beabadoobee has also been given support from Vogue, Dazed, The Fader, i-D, Time Out, New Yorker and The Guardian.  Not bad!

NO ROME

TALK NICE video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnRrSdrcPzY&feature=youtu.be
This is No Rome’s latest single, following on from his Crying in The Prettiest Places EP, which gathered 100 million streams.   Talk Nice is self-produced by this 22 year old Filipino, who distils eclectic influences – J Dilla, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive are examples – into contemporary pop with a raw guitar sound.

With an audience of several thousand in his hometown of Manila recently, No Rome has received support from The Guardian, NME and The Fader.  Exciting times!

OSCAR LANG

HEY video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fghezw9yCg
Oscar is from London and at 18 years old, earlier this year released his self-produced BOPS Etc EP.  It’s his debut release with Dirty Hit.

Oscar is building his reputation as a songwriter and producer, having worked on several releases from Beabadoobee and Girl in Red.  In 2018, he self-released Teenage Hurt and Silk, with dreamy washes of guitar, lilting psych hooks and punchy millennial lyrics, amassing hundreds of thousands of listeners along the way.  A treat in store!
