Tuesday 22nd May sees Brazilian Psych-Rock legends Os Mutantes make a rare live appearance at none other than the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds as part of their upcoming UK tour.
Formed by brothers Arnaldo and Sergio Dias Baptista in 1966, the band released six albums of their much accredited Tropicália inspired psychedelic rock between 1968 and 1974, unfortunately splitting up soon after.
Being cited as a major influence for some of the greatest artists both past and present, including Kurt Cobain and David Byrne, it is no surprise that their ground-breaking musical legacy carried them through the decades and finally saw them re-form with a new and revitalised line up, breathing new life into their unique and genre-defying sound.
Having recently released their latest single ‘Black and Grey’ in late 2017 and with a new album on the way, now is your chance to witness one of the most exciting musical comebacks in recent years.
