Pizza For The People have announced their next ‘Indie Banquet’, due to take place at Wharf Chambers on 15 December.
Headliners are post-punks and Fat White Family off-shoot Warmduscher, with post-punk Hull quartet Lumer, South London quintet Hotel Lux, Leeds newcomers Wilted and Huddersfield’s Polevaulter as well as food from VFC (Vegan fried chicken).
Ryan Morgan and Julia King, co-founders, run their Indie Banquets in venues across the City, matching lineups of emerging talented bands with equally talented food vendors.
They have played host to artists like The Wytches, Gengahr, The Orielles, Kagoule and Vulgarians, matched with vendors such as What’s Your Beef, Mio Pizza, The Pizza Guy, VFC, Pizza Fella, Golden Balls, The Yorkshire Pizza Company and Little Bao Boy
With food as always at the heart of the Pizza For The People events, Leeds based vegan fried chicken pop up VFC will be serving fried seitan all evening.
