Brand New! Leeds Southern Station Entrance
4 January 2016
The Station entrance, the metallic insect-like structure that has dominated building efforts around Granary Wharf is now open for public use. Designed and constructed to alleviate congestion on the main concourse, the Southern Entrance will importantly provide those South of the river with easier access, shaving minutes and importantly, stress off their journey.
With places like Holbeck Urban Village being a large hub of business, and eating and drinking venues, not to mention three gyms, the entrance will serve the workforce, residents and leisure crowd alike. The entrance also acts as a physical bridge between South and Central Leeds, highlighting the increasing influence that the thriving community south of the river Aire has.
