Nomadic Beers 2nd Birthday Party – Coming Up on 19 January from 12 noon

Katie Marriott and Ross Nicholson founded Nomadic Beers early in 2017, brewing at the Burley Street Brewhouse, an original Whitbread brew kit beneath the Fox and Newt.

Such is their popularity that they have grown beyond the 16 casks per brew and in December 2018, a new kit (32 casks per brew) was delivered to their new home in Sheepscar House.

Nomadic Beers’ reputation has been built on producing modern, vegan-friendly real ales such as the modern bitter ‘Bandit’, the best-selling ‘Pale’ and one-off specials like ‘Beans in Toast’, a coffee IPA brewed with surplus bread and coffee beans, being sold across Yorkshire, including Leeds’ North Bar.

There’s much to celebrate, and Gaffa Katie, together with Head Brewer Ross, would like you to join them.  There’ll be Nomadic’s cask and bottle – and some guest cask from other breweries.  You can also see the new brew kit and there’ll be a talk about the brewing process.  The final part of the brewery mural by Christine Jopling will be unveiled.

Well-behaved children, dogs and adults are welcome.
