| Candlelighters, the local charity which supports the families of children with cancer, is asking us not to forget them. So many events had to be cancelled, with the resulting dramatic drop in funding – and Candlelighters need £525,000 to maintain its support services and financial grants. The charity has adapted its service so that families don’t have to feel alone, and increased grant provision where there are greater financial burdens.
