The Annual St Gemma’s Golf Day Raises £30,000

Over 100 golfers from across the region gathered to support local people with life-limiting and terminal illness.

The Annual St Gemma’s Golf Day – held at the prestigious Moor Allerton Golf Club, Leeds, for more than 20 years – raised £30,000 from a combination of team fees, business sponsorship and a charity auction.

Staff from Leeds-based Lawcris Panel Products, a leading-supplier of decorative panel products, have taken part in the popular event for several years. Area sales manager James Gledhill said: “We’re delighted to be here once again and proud to support St Gemma’s Hospice. A great course and a great cause!”

St Gemma’s hospice chief executive Kerry Jackson added: “Thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the years and taken part today. Every penny raised will support the vital work of St Gemma’s Hospice. We wouldn’t be here without you.”
