Collar Club at The Lamb and Flag – For Dogs Trust

Is your dog a sociable type?  Enjoys barbecues?  Has the waggiest tail?  The best paw shake?  A cute party trick?

The Lamb and Flag has decided to throw a barbecue on 22 June from mid-day until 5 p.m., with proceeds in aid of Dogs Trust.  Collar Club will take place in the pub’s recently revamped beer garden and beyond, into Leeds Minster’s grounds.  There’ll be doggy competitions and no fewer than 11 doggy bags to award to the winners of the following categories:

  • Best Paw Shake
  • Slobberiest Smile
  • Pawfect Pic (online entry)
  • Waggiest Tail
  • Best Trick
  • Friendliest Pup
  • Muggiest Mutt
  • Sassiest Strut
  • Best Beard
  • Tallest & Smallest

The prize bags will contain treats and toys; rewards for best behaviour!  If it’s hot weather, your pet can enjoy a paddling pool and there’ll be water bowls, poop bags and dog treats to hand.

Humans can enjoy a playlist which is appropriately themed, as well as tombola with some good prizes – and some are child-friendly.

Want to enter your mutt into the Pawfect Pic competition? Just post a picture on either Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and tag #DogsoftheLambandFlag and we’ll announce the winner on the day.
