Kevin Sinfield: 7 Ultra Marathons in 7 Days and 7 cities

MND Association patron, Kevin Sinfield, is undertaking his fourth challenge in aid of the MND Association by completing seven marathons in seven locations across the UK and Ireland.

Kevin will run from Leeds to York on Friday 1 December.

Money raised from the events will be split across several MND charities, namely MND Association, My Name’s Doddie Foundation, MND Ireland, Leeds Hospital Charity for the building of the Rob Burrow MND Centre for MND and the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.

Kevin is aiming to raise £777,777. The number 7 is significant because it is the number of his friend Rob Burrow’s shirt when he played for Leeds Rhinos. Rob (also an Association patron) is living with MND and Kevin is fundraising because of his friend’s diagnosis.

Across their past three challenges, Kev and the team have raised in excess of £7.8 million for MND charities. On top of that, thousands have been inspired by Kev to do their own challenges, raising millions more to fund vital support for people affected by MND.
