High fives and Skate to Donate at White Rose with Leeds Knights on 3 December
White Rose Shopping Centre hosted a charitable ice skating event on Wednesday 3rd December, inviting ice hockey fans to take to the rink with members of Leeds Knights in return for a small charity donation to benefit local charity Kidz Klub.

248 festive locals joined Leeds Knights superstars Liam Peyton and Balint Pakozdi to set the record for the most high fives completed in 30 seconds.

Guests were asked to make a donation of just £5 to enjoy a skate with the players. All donations go to Kidz Klub, which has worked with families across Leeds for 25 years to bring joy, safety and hope to children living in poverty and isolation.

Ashleigh Kellett, Deputy Centre Director at White Rose “The Christmas season is a time for being together and sharing joy, and we’re excited to host another opportunity to do just that while benefitting the amazing work that Kidz Klub does across the City. We’re grateful for Leeds Knights’ time and generosity…..”

White Rose’s ice rink is open to enjoy until 4th January, with regular themed events as well as Friday Disco Nights and special Parent & Toddler and Quiet Sessions.
