White Rose Christmas Appeal

The appeal returned to White Rose’s Central Atrium on 14 November, set to benefit Leeds charities as we approach Christmas.

Visitors have an opportunity to donate gifts for children aged 0-16 during centre opening hours. All gifts will be shared between Kidz Klub and the MINT annual toy appeal.

White Rose Ice Rink

Kidz Klub supports over 1,250 Leeds children and their families with activities and home visits. Donations will help the charity continue support for children in crisis in the local community.

MINT (Men in Need Together) provides a free support network, enabling men to meet together without being judged. The charity tackles the stigma surrounding mental health and hopes to contribute to reducing the suicide rate among men. The annual toy appeal supports struggling families locally. Any surplus gifts will be donated to Leeds Children’s Hospital.

White Rose Santa’s Grotto

Steven Foster, Centre Director at White Rose Shopping Centre: “We are always pleased to see the support and generosity our community show every year in the run-up to Christmas, and are excited to be working with both Kidz Klub and The MINT Project during this year’s appeal.  We’re looking forward to seeing our community support these two valuable local causes this winter.”

White Rose Shopping Centre is the perfect festive day out this winter, with the launch of its first-ever magical, under-cover ice rink outside by The Village, and the return of its much-loved Christmas grotto. The grotto is open until 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The rink is open from 4 p.m. until 2nd January. It is closed on Christmas Day.
