Bundobust has announced their Christmas menu, introducing a new dish as well as including those established favourites. Sprout bhaji anyone?
Sprout bhajis and the other dishes are all available now. The bhajis are deep-fried with onion, broccoli, fennel and chilli, served with cranberry chutney – all to transform the vegetable which has been much maligned over the years.
You might ask ‘What’s new, then?’ – It’s the sprout bhaji butty! Do not pour your scorn upon this, because every time one of these butties is sold, £1 will be donated towards a local charity, helping the homeless and vulnerable. The Leeds charity of choice this year is Canopy Housing, who help homeless people to transform empty houses into homes. Anyway, the old adage ‘Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it’ comes into play here and it’s surely worth giving it a chance if you know you’re putting another £1 into a good cause.
The teams at Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool have some up with their own festive cocktails, Naughty or Nice. So which one will you be? Naughty is a spicy hot toddy whilst Nice is an alcohol-free apple-cinnamon sour.
All Christmas specials are available in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool from Monday 18th November until December 23rd. Check out Instagram (@bundobust) and Twitter (@bundobust / @bundobustMCR/ @bundobustLIV) for updates on Christmas beers as and when they change.
