I recently visited the Leeds Trinity Kitchen branch with a friend to try some new items on the menu, especially after hearing all the buzz about their new Matcha Dream milkshake. We went all in, ordering two Superstar burgers, mac and cheese bites, hot cheese fries, a Matcha Dream milkshake and a Lotus milkshake.
The food came out in under 15 minutes – fast, fresh and smelling unreal. The Superstar burger was everything you would want from a good fast food burger: juicy beef, melted cheese and their signature star sauce tying it all together. The side of mac and cheese bites was crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside and honestly, we could’ve eaten another serving of them.
Another side we chose was the hot cheese fries. They’re the ultimate comfort food and the perfect combination of crisp with a rich melted cheese sauce. All of this for a reasonable price felt like a solid deal, especially with their great portion sizes and even better flavours.
But the real star of the meal? The Dream Matcha milkshake, a brand new collaboration with TikTok star Ami Charlize. This limited edition shake, which is available for three months instore or online, is a matcha lover’s dream. It blends premium matcha with velvety white chocolate and also is full of small white chocolate pieces. The balance between the earthy matcha and creamy white chocolate is spot on. The flavour is not too sweet, but not too bitter; just a smooth and creamy mix to perfection. If you’re new to matcha or already love it, this one’s definitely worth a try before it disappears.
Overall, Archie’s delivers exactly what you expect – some proper, indulgent, fast food. Whether you’re there for a burger, fries, or just a ridiculously good milkshake, it’s a great shout for a cheat meal that’s actually worth it.
