Flight Club in Leeds is a quirky bar that offers darts with a difference. They have reimagined the traditional game to create interactive, electronic games that will definitely bring out your competitive streak. What’s better is that it comes with bottomless Prosecco and pizza to see you through your 2 hours in the venue. You spend your first hour playing darts and your second hour enjoying the rest of your drinks and pizza around your reserved table.
Each guest has a bottle of Prosecco that they can have on its own or with some fresh orange juice. Everyone loves a mimosa, right?
If you’re not looking for a boozy day, or you’re the designated driver – you can swap your bottle of Prosecco for four Mocktails from the menu. Each of these were delicious and definitely kept the sober-curious in good spirits.
As for the pizzas – you definitely won’t be going home hungry. Four of us managed to get through 3 large pizzas (and I mean they were LARGE). We opted for the Pepperoni, Margarita, BBQ chicken and then another Pepperoni for good measure. It was just too good not to.
The games themselves are easy to get to grips with and are so much fun to play in groups or even as a pair. In the hour, we managed to play each game once – so we definitely had enough time. But if there were more than four players I’d probably recommend booking some more time on the darts board. You’re notified when you have 5 minutes left so you can finish off your game and crown the winner!
The whole two hours was so much fun. You get a whole section to yourself and your party can cheer you on from the sidelines. To make it even more interactive, there’s a camera in the darts board recording your best shots and ready for you to snap a photo whenever you fancy! All of the images and videos captured are then emailed to the person who made the booking (for the mems).
After spending our afternoon playing darts, eating way too much pizza and getting tipsy on Prosecco, we headed upstairs to Electric Shuffle, the sister bar of Flight Club.
We were excited to continue the fun over at Electric Shuffle and we were not disappointed!
If you’ve never played shuffleboard before, this is your sign! Your group is split into two teams and you play interactive electronic shuffleboard with a range of tournaments to choose from. Your competitive side is bound to come out as you find the perfect balance in your shuffleboard technique.
Alongside shuffleboard, we tried some of the banging cocktails on offer. From frozen refreshers to coffee cocktails – there’s something for every cocktail lover! It’s also worth mentioning that their non-alcoholic selection is also incredible, with Mocktails & 0% alcohol ‘spirits’ available.
The vibes in both bars were incredible. Electric Shuffle definitely feels more like a bar, with the boho-decor and millennial pink walls. But Flight Club is a great place for group bookings, for a little bit of intimacy with your mates or colleagues.
If I had to choose between shuffleboard and darts….. well, I simply couldn’t! Each offered something super unique and quirky that beats sitting round a dinner table any day of the week – but in particular Thursday to Sunday!
