Flight Club have already established themselves as the home of interactive darts, mixing a classic game with a modern twist and turning it into competitive fun.
While you’re still throwing real darts, where you land on the board can completely change the direction of each game, with some requiring you to score higher and others to go lower. There’s room for accuracy and strategy, but nothing feels too serious and their games are just competitive enough to keep everyone invested. Flight Club’s a solid choice for groups who want a form of activity, without needing to be expert players.

A few friends and I recently went to Flight Club Leeds to check out a new addition to their games list. The latest launch, LIMBO, gives each player three lives and three darts per round, with a simple goal: score lower than where the bar starts (60). If you fail to score lower than the previous player’s score, miss the board, or hit the bar exactly, you lose a life and the bar resets to 60.
The game continues to become harder until only one player is left standing. It’s an easy to grasp game with a fun yet competitive aspect to it and encourages everyone to get involved.

We ended up playing LIMBO multiple times, mainly because of how cleverly it influences the order of play. The score you throw doesn’t just affect your own chances, it sets the difficulty for whoever follows. An accurate throw might help the next player breeze through, while an unexpectedly high one tightens the limit and raises the pressure for whoever steps up next. The game keeps everyone on their toes and the competitive edge becomes naturally more playful the longer you’re at it. Each round feels different and that’s definitely what kept us coming back for another go.
To go alongside the games, we each chose a cocktail from the extensive drinks list. ‘Peach Dreams’ was a sweet tasting cocktail, with subtle herbal flavours. The ‘Rose-ito’ was a refreshing mix of rose, lime and mint and the ‘A Little Bit Lychee’ was a crisp cocktail with a balanced combination of lychee and citrus.

Enjoying a cocktail while playing the games added nicely to the experience and although we didn’t order food this time, the menu’s mix of sharing bites and classic comfort dishes is certainly worth noting for anyone planning a longer stay.
LIMBO is definitely a strong addition to Flight Club’s already varied offering of games. An interactive twist with some competition amongst friends, ideal for groups looking for something engaging to do instead of just going out for a few drinks and some food.

Whether you’ve been before or you’re considering your first visit, heading down to try the new game is well worth it. It’s an easy, enjoyable way to spend an evening and a solid reminder of why Flight Club continues to be such a popular choice.
