Leeds’ Rosa’s Thai New and Exclusive Isaan Specials

North Eastern Thailand (Isaan) is a region which is both hot and humid. This is the reason behind the heavy use of preservation and fermentation techniques, and the area’s range herbs, vegetables and spices.

Rosa’s Thai has launched a new Isaan specials menu for the use of the Leeds restaurant, celebrating co-founder Saiphin Moore’s birthplace.

Sharing plates include Gai Yang (grilled chicken thighs marinated in lemongrass),Yum Woonsen (glass noodle salad with prawns and cherry tomatoes), Pla Tod (whole-fried sea bass with a refreshing mango, cashew nut & red onion salad) and Nam Tok Kor Moo (char-grilled pork salad).  Som Tum salads sit alongside this selection, with variations Saiphin’s favourite variations of the iconic papaya salad.

Some of the Isaan specials on the Leeds menu will also be available across all Rosa’s Thai sites this spring.

Rosa’s has also launched a cocktail menu inspired by Thai flavours, including Rosa’s Signature G&T, Pineapple Kaffir Lime Sour, Lychee Ginger Spritz and the Kopiko Espresso Martini.
