When much around us disappoints and depresses, isn’t it reassuring and restoring to know that there are pies? From Mothership Monday to Funday Sunday, Pieminister has Pie Week covered.
Pieminister is making the most of what can only be called a festival of pies. National Pie Week wraps us in its embrace from 4 – 10 March, and Pieminister has all seven of those days geared to meeting your every pie need.
It might be a good idea to book a table in advance for the day you prefer:
Mothership Monday (there’s now a vegan option) – Mothership is your favourite pie with mash, peas, crispy shallots, Cheddar cheese, and gravy. All for £5.
VIPie Tuesday – 2 for 1 pie meals for existing VIPie members.
Happy HumpDay – Happy hour is happening in restaurants all day on Wednesday, and cafe fans can enjoy a soft drink free with their takeaway.
Thankful Thursday – Pieminister will be donating 50p to FRANK Water for every pie meal sold, supporting FRANK’s safe water and sanitation projects in Nepal and India.
PieDay Friday Golden Ticket Giveaway, well, 12 tickets actually, which entitle the winners to a pie meal and soft drink every Friday for a year. Scratch cards come with every meal on the day.
Super Tower Saturday – The Tower of Power is back for £10!
Sunday Funday – A Sunday Best with a sundae for £10, and takeaway fans will have 50% off their pies.
If all that isn’t tempting enough, you may be curious about the limited edition Lady Baa Baa, available only in March, during the lamb season.
Pieminister has gluten-free as well as vegan offerings.
Not able to get to Pieminister between the 4 to 10 March? You can still celebrate Pie Week with a pie. Order a box online, head to your nearest Waitrose or call Pieminister on 0117 950 4563 to find your local independent stockist. You can also enjoy a Pieminister experience at your local pie pub, The Pack Horse in Briggate. Everyone knows pies and pints were made for each other after all.
