Sukhothai – Launching Bottomless Brunch

From 27 August, this award-winning South Parade restaurant will be offering diners a tempting selection of tapas-style dishes or a two-course lunch from noon until 3.30 p.m.

Diners can choose 3 dishes from a menu which mixes the classic with contemporary, served alongside 90 minutes of bottomless Prosecco, house wine Singha beer fruit juice, soft drinks or a cocktail of the week.

2-course Lunch

The two-course option includes a starter, main and side, with plenty of their bestselling dishes to choose from:

Starters include Satay Gai – grilled chicken skewers marinated in Thai herbs with a side of deliciously rich peanut sauce;  Tod Mun Pla authentic Thai fishcakes with sweet chilli sauce, and plump and juicy Gung Ta Krai king prawns in a crisp and fragrant lemongrass batter.

Main courses include Gang Massaman curry, which is heavily influenced by Malaysian cuisine with its mix of coconut cream, turmeric, star anise, cinnamon, and peanut, classic Gang Kiew Wan green curry and Pad Ga Prao, blending diced meat with green beans, fresh chilli and basil topped with a fried egg. Mains can all be selected with a choice of chicken, pork, beef, prawn, tofu, or mock chicken.

Thai tapas

There are no fewer than eleven choices – such as Laab Gai Krob crispy chicken comes smothered in a spicy Thai-Isaan dressing made using dried chilli, toasted ground rice, mint, and shallots; Phed Mango grilled duck breasts are served up on a bed of lettuce with a sweet and sticky mango sauce, the steamed Sukhothai Dumplings, served with sweet soy sauce and crispy garlic, or new addition Thai-Style Bao Buns, which come with crispy duck, chicken, or tender sliced beef. Guests can also choose from a side of rice noodles, egg-fried rice, coconut, or jasmine rice.

A recipe for success

Recently having celebrated 20 years of success, Sukhothai is known for combining delicious and authentic Thai cuisine with exceptional service, with venues in Leeds, Chapel Allerton and Harrogate.

Ban Kaewkraikhot, owner and Executive Chef:

‘’We’ve taken our time to perfect our new bottomless offering, and I’m sure our customers will agree it’s been well worth the wait. Our South Parade restaurant offers the perfect setting to get together with friends and family to enjoy some incredible food and drink, with the option to move on to the many great bars the City has to offer.

We’re quietly confident that our menu is the best bottomless offering around and does not compromise on quality. This is the first time we’ve opened on a weekend lunchtime since before the pandemic, and what better time to start than the August bank holiday? We’re excited to welcome our first guests and can’t wait to hear their feedback.’’
