Tetley Bar & Kitchen

The Tetley Bar & Kitchen team is looking forward to welcoming customers to their new ‘Friday Social’ at the sun terrace re-opening on 16 April at 5 p.m.

Whilst restrictions are still in place, there’ll be more Friday Socials, with DJs, offers on drinks and weekly changing street food vendors, starting with Bastards Bistro’s ‘Chippy tea’. Alongside this traditional dish, there’ll be scampi fries arancino, Scotch egg, and deep fried Mars bars with ice cream.

Customers have been enjoying the Tetley’s weekly ‘heat up at home’ roast box, to order by Thursday each week and collect either on Saturday or Sunday; or brunch, lunch and pop-ups (with vegan and vegetarian options) on Saturdays from the terrace marquee. Now that The Little Yorkshire Scone Company has taken up a residency, there’s even more to look forward to at week-ends.

Samantha Fish, Head Commercial and VIsitor Experience: “We’re really excited to re-open our terrace. So many independent businesses have been affected by the pandemic. We’ve really missed offering our full hospitality experience to people so our Friday Social line-up is not to be missed.  We’ll be showcasing some of the best street food Leeds has to offer, with options that everyone can enjoy. All of this will be accompanied by great music and excellent drinks offers, helping everyone get that Friday feeling back that has been greatly missed, with many people working from home for the last year. It’s going to be so nice to get the City Centre buzzing again and we look forward to welcoming back our regulars, along with some new faces.”

Expect burgers from the Little Red Food Truck, plant-based curries and desserts from Honest Supper Club and pizzas from Sela bar, plus much more, all washed down with a great beer selection, refreshing cocktails, wines and spirits.

Customers can book a table for up to 6 people via the Tetley Bar & Kitchen website, and pay for food through their own device. A cash-free policy will remain in operation as a safety precaution.

Samantha continued: “We’re really pleased with the incredible vendors and music we’ve got lined up over the coming months, chosen to create the perfect vibe that people have been missing. The only thing we can’t control is the Great British weather, but with our brand-new pagoda, customers can still enjoy the atmosphere, whatever the weather!”
