Platforming Community Talent: A South Asian Cultural Showcase in Leeds by SAA-uk is supported by Leeds Civic Trust and Leeds Community Foundation.
The event marks the conclusion of the successful Platform project. Over two years, the project has documented and celebrated the voices and creativity of Leeds’ South Asian community.
Featuring talents like the remarkable 102-year-old Mir Bostan and soulful singer/songwriter Kauser Mukhtar, presenting her latest recorded songs, the event invites the people of Leeds to showcase their talents, from poetry and song to visual arts and Antakshari.
