The UK’s most iconic pizzeria brand, PizzaExpress, is spreading holiday cheer this December with the launch of its brand-new Press for Showtime series.
The series will bring free live entertainment to select pizzerias for diners to enjoy, alongside their festive favourite and a Peroni or two.
With recent YouGov data revealing that over half (56%) of families are cutting back on festive outings this year and 41% are planning to forego traditional experiences and events altogether, this intimate pop-up show features as part of a fortnight of magical, in-restaurant entertainment designed to sprinkle a little extra festive joy into the season for families.
Performances will be popping up all across the UK throughout the holiday season, including an exclusive, pantomime performance of Carriageworks Theatre’s iconic Beauty and the Beast at PizzaExpress Leeds Dock on Wednesday 11th December.
Pizza fans dining between 5pm and 6pm will be treated to an extra serving of hilarious, family pantomime fun – at no extra cost. A festive staple, the pantomime will bring the spellbinding magic of Beauty and the Beast to a restaurant setting, giving families in the area the opportunity to enjoy free entertainment this holiday season.
PizzaExpress’ Press for Showtime series launched with an intimate performance by Rag’n’Bone Man. Fresh off the back of his sold-out UK & European tour, Rag’n’Bone Man brought his soulful sound to PizzaExpress Live, on Wednesday 4th December.
The series will continue through December, enabling diners to experience unforgettable entertainment, as it welcomes some of the country’s favourite festive performances – from world-renowned Christmas choirs and iconic pantomime characters – to its pizzerias this December.
