New Leeds Home for Underground Music

This September sees the official launch of Under The Arches, a brand-new underground rave spot hidden beneath the railway arches in the centre of Leeds.

The venue is the latest project from promoter Josh Demello, above, who has spent the past two years road-testing the space with his brand Ruckus24, hosting DJs like tINI, Dr Banana, Locklead, Tristan Da Cunha, Garrett David, and Reeshy.

After a full refurb, Under The Arches is ready to step out as a permanent home for underground music.

Armed with a new Funktion-One sound system and upgraded production, the club kicks off with a heavyweight season of events featuring crews like Slapfunk, Ruckus24, Airspace and Percolate.

Lineups include Kolter, Dungeon Meat, Georgia, Julian Fijma, Jamback, Mandidextrous, Samurai Breaks and much more to be announced, all bringing the heat to Leeds’ freshest basement dancefloor.

Launching at a time when Leeds has lost some of its most iconic venues, Under The Arches is here to fly the flag for the City’s underground music culture—raw, intimate and built for the heads.
