Leeds comedy venue The Glee Club is giving families a brand-new way to spend their weekends, with the launch of a new comedy experience for the whole family.
The City’s first monthly family-friendly comedy show will deliver laughs for children, parents and grandparents alike. Featuring some of the UK’s best family comedians, each two-hour lunchtime show will showcase a mix of British and international acts who specialise in entertaining audiences of all ages. Every performance will be packed with age-appropriate comedy, ensuring parents, children and grandparents can all enjoy the experience together.
The line-up on Sunday 18th October includes acclaimed performers Steffan Alun, Mat Ricardo and Kirsty Newton, with more acts to be announced throughout the season.
Suitable for ages seven and above, the shows also feature family-friendly food deals, making them the perfect weekend outing.

For a limited time, visitors can book the new family shows with a half price discount in The Glee Club summer sale. The sale is now on, giving audiences the chance to be the first to secure seats with 50% off tickets available during the promotion.
Selected Friday Night Comedy and Saturday Night Comedy shows taking place throughout July will also be available with 50% off as part of the promotion. The limited time offer runs until 17 July. All discounted tickets muust be booked before the offer ends.
Since opening its Leeds venue in March 2025, The Glee Club has firmly established itself as one of the City’s leading live entertainment destinations. Known for its packed-out stand-up nights with big-name comedians, to spontaneous midweek laughs and late-night cocktails, it has quickly become a go-to venue for comedy fans across Yorkshire.
This summer, guests can also look forward to a cracking line-up of comedians bringing a season of side-splitting humour to the City. The programme features some of the biggest names in stand-up, including Jamie Hutchinson, Amit Mistry, Patrick Monahan, Justin Moorhouse, drag superstar Baga Chipz, Sunday Times bestselling author Caitlin Moran, and acclaimed Australian comedian Annie Boyle, with more top acts appearing throughout the season.
