Ballet Cymru return to Leed’s Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre for one night only on Saturday 16 November with Momentum, an exciting mixed-bill of contemporary dance.
Opening the night will be the première of Momentum by Marcus J Willis, Artistic Director of Leeds institution Phoenix Dance Theatre, and Ballet Cymru Associate Artist .
This new work has been created especially for the exceptional dancers of Ballet Cymru and captures a choreographer, dancers and company at the top of their game.
The second piece will be Surge by internationally acclaimed choreographer and Ballet Cymru Associate Artist, Marc Brew. Created at the company’s home in Wales, this beautiful new work will explore how we can capture the movement of waves to create new energy.
