Visitors can visit an inflatable Heaven art installation by a leading Leeds artist, designed to bring the community back together.
The new art commission, ‘Heaven’ by Pippa Hale, is being unveiled today, 29 May at Left Bank in Burley Leeds. Pippa has created the installation with the help of local children, who were asked to describe heaven. That’s how the inflatable, interactive sculpture came to be – and to stand out between neo gothic stone colonnades and arches.
The sculpture will appeal to people of all ages and there’s a separate space for very young children and even babies, containing 12 soft and moveable pieces.
The installation will be in place from 29 May – 4 June 2021 and will return during the summer.
