Waitress – Coming to Leeds Grand Theatre

The smash-hit musical comedy Waitress is at Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday 14 – Saturday 18 September, brought to the stage by a ground-breaking female-led creative team.

Jenna dreams of being happy some day as she expertly makes her pies and waits on tables – but life easily becomes complicated when a new doctor comes to town. Workmates Becky and Dawn are on hand to help Jenna navigate the challenges and discover that friendship, laughter and love are the perfect ingredients for realising your dreams.

Waitress – by the Grammy Award-winning Sara Bareilles (Love Song, Brave) a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).

Lucie Jones (Waitress, Les Misérables, Legally Blonde) stars as Jenna, with Sandra Marvin (Waitress, ITV’s Emmerdale, Hairspray) playing Becky, Evelyn Hoskins (Waitress, Spring Awakening) as Dawn and Matt Willis (Busted, A Christmas Carol, Wicked) as Dr Pomatter.
