This Queen and Ben Elton musical was a huge hit in 2010 and 2011 in the UK, and its 10th Anniversary world arena tour. It’s been re-imagined for 2019, delivering Ben Elton’s force of comedy writing along with the scale and spectacle to celebrate the legend.
Think We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free and Bohemian Rhapsody, all bound within the story of a group of Bohemians and their struggle to restore freedom of thought, fashion and live music, in their futuristic world where everyone is expected to think, dress and act the same. Rock music doesn’t exist – and instruments and composers are not allowed.
Galileo is played by Ian McIntosh, Scaramouche by Elena Skye, Killer Queen by Jenny O’Leary,Michael McKell as Buddy, Adam Strong as Khashoggi, David-Michael Johnson as Brit and Amy Di Bartolomeo as Oz. This is a cast with great musical credits to their names, from Beautiful and The Commitments to Les Miserables and Macbeth, as well as Blood Brothers and Jesus Christ Superstar.
