Deer Shed Festival returns to North Yorkshire this month, with last on-site bookings still available.
Deer Shed, North Yorkshire’s independent family-friendly festival, returns this month for its 16th edition. With organisers expecting the festival to sell-out for the second year in a row, Deer Shed have shared day splits and a final call on live-in vehicle and on-site bookings.

Friday 24th of July will be topped by New York, ‘discodelic’ soul trio Say She She who’ll be making their UK Festival headline debut. Joining them on the main stage will be indie rockers Bar Italia, London-based singer, songwriter and rapper Murkage Dave and Stoke-on-Trent’s synth pop buzz band Formal Sppeedwear.
Elsewhere, Friday will see performances from DEADLETTER, Boko Yout and Bill Ryder-Jones and a Big Top comedy headline set from satirical stand up and Mash Report star Rachel Parris.

Saturday sees the inimitable, irascible Sleaford Mods command the main stage alongside the likes of special guests noisemakers Fat Dog, indie-rock songwriter Jasmine.4.t, a key MC at the forefront of the UK’s drum ‘n’ bass renaissance OneDa, acclaimed post-punk quartet LIFE and hotly tipped grunge-pop star Gretel.

Performing across the festival on Saturday will be the likes of Working Men’s Club, Gans, Joshua Idehen and Tenderness whilst the comedy bill will be headlined by the mighty Stewart Lee with supporting sets from Jessica Fostekew and more.

Sunday will see Manchester prog pop maestros Everything Everything bring the festival to a close with main stage support from special guests Scottish indie-rock stalwarts The Twilight Sad, seven-piece Afro-psych collective BCUC, Brighton-based wonk pop outfit Lime Garden, fuzzed out Scots folk group Brògeal and multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Dominie Hooper.

Also performing in Baldersby Park on Sunday will be Getdown Services, Sorry, Katherine Priddy, Brown Horse and many more, whilst beloved broadcaster, comedian and podcaster Adam Buxton headlines the Big Top with his band with a special supporting set from acclaimed musical comedy duo Jonny & The Baptists.
The latest additions to this year’s festival line up include captivating conversations, brand new music, fresh comedy, exciting late-night events, even more family-friendly outdoor activities and, significantly, the Wilderwild Retreat; now Deer Shed’s biggest ever wellbeing experience.

Already a staple of the Deer Shed experience, the newly extended range of bookable on-site activities is proving more popular than ever. Put yourself through your paces with the Henches Wenches as you undertake a high-energy HIIT session to the tunes of a live trad ceilidh band. Festival favourites like Wild Swimming, including all new Night Swimming sessions; Kayaking; Sauna and Yoga sessions held within the Wilderwild Retreat and the Synth Shed, which will guide you through building an 808 drum machine kick circuit from scratch, are all filling up fast with final tickets available here.
Similarly, there are limited Live-In Vehicle spaces left for this year’s festival, find more information on what qualifies as a Live-In Vehicle and secure a pitch here.
Inviting attendees into their most adventurous journey yet, this summer’s festival sees Baldersby Park transform into a twisting, turning world of wonder, where every path leads to curiosity, creativity, and a few surprises along the way. At the heart of it all will sit Deer Shed’s biggest build to date: a colossal maze packed with escape-room-style challenges, hidden clues, puzzles to crack, and magical moments waiting to be uncovered.

Reinvigorated after its sell-out fifteenth birthday last year and still proudly independent as ever, the team behind Deer Shed festival are gearing up to turn Topcliffe back into a sprawling labyrinth of colour and community that celebrates contemporary music, comedy and cultural creativity.
Megan Evans, Deer Shed Festival Director: “It’s very exciting to be sharing the Stage Splits for Deer Shed 2026 with you as it means we’re almost there! Seeing everything and everyone we’ve booked on one page is a reminder that this is one of our most ambitious years yet with musical heroes like Sleaford Mods and Everything Everything rubbing shoulders with the likes of incredible new acts like Boko Yout and Brown Horse whilst the mighty Stewart Lee shares the comedy bill with Lekiddo, Lord of the Lobsters…Whether you’re an old festival friend joining us for another weekend of wonder or it’ll be your first time in Baldersby Park, we look forward to welcoming you for what’s shaping up to be our most a-MAZE-ing weekend to date.”
