Flight Club is a brand new bar and darts space that uses cutting-edge technology to make darts even more fun and engaging.
With bars already in London, Manchester and Birmingham, Leeds South Parade is the latest venue, taking over the space formerly occupied by Shooters Bar, just off The Headrow.
We were invited to Flight Club to try out ‘Social Darts’ and the range of meal and drink options on offer.
Flight Club have reinvented darts for the twenty first century, creating a range of multi-player games, designed to bring people together and help them find new enjoyment in one of our traditional pub games. Ingenious ways have been found to enable groups of friends to play together regardless of their skill levels, thanks to multiple throw lines technology that gives everyone a chance to win.
In addition to the games, Flight Club also boast a range of bespoke cocktails, sharing boards and pizzas, which help to keep players fuelled and hydrated.
We went to Flight Club as a group of five on Thursday evening after work – and we had a great time! The games were good for all of us, even though we all had different darts playing capabilities. We also enjoyed that there were a range of games available, but ‘Killer’ was our group’s favourite. We liked that with Killer, we were able to get that competitive edge going whilst playing.
All the games use the unique technology that Flight Club has created, and it is very clever – it was impressive that tech can successfully tell if you threw the darts and missed.
Beyond the darts, there was a good range of drinks on offer. We enjoyed a few beers and also tried two of the cocktails, which were a very pleasant change from our usual drinking preferences! The range of food was also really impressive, presented in great pub style. There was a good selection of nibbles as well as larger meals. We tried a few dishes (well, you have to, don’t you?) and enjoyed them all, but the mini burger sliders were quickly a favourite of ours.
Flight Club had a lovely atmosphere, providing us with a real night out – something that we’d all been missing for a while! For those of you who are looking for something a little different with a touch of tradition, Flight Club offers an unusual and enjoyable experience that is suitable no matter what your age, and one that’s sure to bring people together, whether they know each other or if they don’t – making it a great place for a group of friends or family, or workplace team-building activities. We were impressed – so we’re sure you will be, too!
