Oktoberfest’s Second Week-end 18 & 19 October

Bavarian-style beer-drinking and bratwurst consumption, together with an all-round excellent social occasion, ensured a sell-out week-end last week-end, but there are still a limited number of tickets available for today and tomorrow.

Temple Arches is the venue, complete with Bavarian big top, Oktoberfest decor and Oompah band Bavarian Strollers.  Bavarian brewery Ayinger is supplying the steins and there’s also wine and soft drinks if preferred.  The new venue has been necessary only because of the hugely increased demand for space.

The photos – all by Andy Matheson – are from last week-end.  I have a feeling people really enjoyed themselves!

Oktoberfest tickets are available from www.oktoberfestleeds.com

Friday 18th October   5-11pm

Saturday 19th October  12-5pm  and  6-11pm
