Rola Wala – New Menu Items and a Special Offer

Rola Wala, renowned for innovation (think Indian-inspired naan rolls) continues its pleasing dynamism, boosting the offering of fast, fresh and healthy street food.

There’s a new naan roll option, the Garlic Naan roll, and the new Tikka Tacos, which include the King Prawn Patia. For the first time, an impressive range of sides and sharing dishes will be made fresh each day. I’m already won over: Masala Fries, Spicy Grilled Corn, Paneer Strips and Onion Bhajis with dips.

These changes and additions serve to reinforce the brand’s mission statement – to create a healthier alternative to typical mass-produced food and make it fit for the whole family. Add to this the advantages of convenience and value and everyone’s onto a winner. Mains start at just £5.95, freshly made to order in minutes and available on demand with in-store, click and collect and Deliveroo ordering options. And customers have real choices, setting their spice levels from nought to fiery super hot.

To celebrate the introduction of classic Indian side options for the first time, there’s a launch offer – Free Side Fridays – where customers who sign up via the Rola Wala website will qualify for a free side from the new menu alongside any purchase of a main meal every Friday in July, starting July 1st.

Rola Wala has not gone unnoticed further afield: restaurant guidebook Zagat describes Rola Wala as “one of the top five names to know”. Rita Ora, after trying a wrap in London, calling it “London’s best wrap”. Praise has also come from BuzzFeed and chef Rachel Khoo. The restaurant’s food has also appeared on the silver screen in Hollywood feature film ‘Burnt’ which starred A-Lister Bradley Cooper.

With a range of low-carb, gluten-free and vegan options also available (most dishes have fewer than 500 calories) there has never been a better time to check out Rola Wala.

Rola Wala also takes part in the One Feeds Two™ programme. For every roll sold at Rola Wala, the restaurant provides a school meal to a hungry child living in poverty. To date, they’ve provided over 750,000 meals.

Mark Wright, Founder of Rola Wala: “There’s nothing better than a brilliant onion bhaji, and we’re thrilled to be bringing this and more to Rola Wala Leeds. Inspired by our travels in India, including backstreets, beaches, and curry houses across the country, we’ve devised this new range for anybody that wants to enjoy some Indian favourites alongside their Rola Wala. With all sides costing as little as £2.45 for one side, or £3.95 for two with any main, they’re also incredible value.”
