ADMT, singer-songwriter and proud Yorkshire boy, kicked off Leeds Trinity’s new ‘Trinity Kitchen Sessions’ with his homecoming pop-up gig ahead of his second European tour starting in October.
Adam Taylor, better known as ADMT, is a rising star and, having just released his latest single ‘F*ck You’, is doing a pop-up gig tour around the North this week and was the opening act for Trinity Kitchen Sessions.
Kitchen Sessions is a new event taking place every Thursday evening in the beloved Trinity Kitchen, where diners not only enjoy the wide range of food vendors available, but also some special live music to go alongside their tea.
ADMT’s Trinity Kitchen gig was a heart-warming affair; fans of his crowded around the stage set up to the left of Stuzzy’s Deep Fried Lasagna van, awaiting the arrival of the star of the evening.
As he appeared on stage and the crowd cheered, a fan in the audience shouted, “Have you ever been to Yorkshire?”, ADMT’s famous catchphrase referencing ‘North’, a song about his love for Yorkshire and the North of England.
He told anecdotes of past jobs, relationships and his own life experiences in between songs, the excited crowd buzzing to be able to sing along to his lyrics with him.
After the first half of the gig, fans were able to meet and greet ADMT, taking pictures with him and sharing their appreciation for his music.
His fans were happy to join the queue to meet him and it was clear there was a lot of love in the room on the night.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the music was from the heart, and the food was, of course, excellent. For many of us, it seemed like the perfect combination.
ADMT’s Trinity Kitchen pop-up gig was a success for everyone involved, a perfect first for Trinity’s new event and a very special evening.
