From Manchester, an experimental pop band (consisting of bass, synth, guitar, vocals, violin, accordion and a drum machine) that leaves the audience not quite able to explain what they’ve just seen. They blend acoustics and electronics to create textured and danceable music.

Vipertime

Born in the snake pit of Leeds house parties, aggro-jazz four-piece Vipertime have earned a ferocious reputation making a series of incendiary appearances at venues and festivals across the UK, honing their craft while pushing their line-up of saxophone, bass and twin drum sets to its sonic limits. Music of joy and rebellion.

Marco Woolf

Marco Woolf’s music can prove complex to categorise, known for his introspective lyrics, dreamlike storytelling and carefully crafted instrumentation—each element given equal emotional weight. His critically acclaimed EP ‘Francine, i’ was hailed as “light, complex, rich and immediate” by Pan African Music Magazine, with its limited 12” vinyl selling out in just 24 hours. The project gained widespread support from BBC 6Music, Jazz FM, and international radio.

This event is promoted by Sam Legg (Elusive Jazz) and is supported by the ECPF, which is managed by the PRS Foundation and funded by ACE using Supporting Grassroots Music funding from DCMS.
