The fivepiece from Dundalk were supported by Cruel Sister (Faith Nico) from Dublin.
The all-Irish night centred on the challenges and grief that love brings, through to emerging hope, even optimism.

Having travelled from their first two albums, Wednesday and Heart Under and the murky depths life and love can drag us to, Just Mustard brought a change via their third album We Were Just Here,, towards something resembling a nearly warm glow from distant sunlight.

Songwriter and the band’s vocalist Katie Ball admitted recently that she was trying to be optimistic, to reach for life and love rather than let the downside dominate.

Don’t get me wrong – the band is still bold and thumping, drummer Shane Maguire still clattering out that heavy percussive sound, but there’s a sense of hope, an uplift that urges a more positive mind.
