Live at Leeds in The City: 15 November 2025

Leading the multi-venue lineup are Jalen Ngonda, Katy J Pearson, Adult DVD, Divorce, Panic Shack and Keo.

Live at Leeds In The City has announced the first instalment of artists performing at this year’s Festival on Saturday 15th of November. A celebration of the best new artists at the forefront of new music curation for nearly twenty years, Live at Leeds in The City will host over 100 artists and thousands of dedicated music fans across a dozen of Leeds’ famed independent venues, bars and creative spaces.

Leading today’s announcement is captivating singer-songwriter Jalen Ngonda. The US-born singer and songwriter found his voice in Liverpool and will be bringing his transatlantic blend of classic soul, hip hop and contemporary jazz to Leeds as showcased on his critically acclaimed 2023 debut ‘Come Around and Love Me’, alongside exciting new material.

Joining Jalen this November are Bristol’s eclectic indie-pop icon Katy J Pearson whose 2024 full-length ‘Someday, Now’ sees the singer-writer embracing a new electronic edge, psych-rock singer-songwriter Du Blonde, fast-rising alt-country fourpiece Divorce and their 6Music mainstay single ‘Eat My Words’; Welsh DIY punk-rockers Panic Shack, eclectic post-punk collective Warmduscher and many, many more to come, including the best of Leeds’ emerging musical talent.

An innovator of the multi-venue festival format in the UK, Live at Leeds will once again take up residence in some of the City’s most recognisable and beloved venues, including The Brudenell Social Club, Belgrave Music Hall, Oporto, Leeds University Union, with the full venue list to be revealed soon.

Launched in 2007, Live at Leeds has become one of the country’s most recognisable and important festivals dedicated to championing new artists. An important stop on the careers of thousands of musicians, in its storied history the Festival has notably hosted early performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975, George Ezra and countless others.
