Leeds based music charity Music House is proud to announce a fundraising event catering to the whole family, taking place on Saturday 14th December at their very own venue on St Marks Avenue in Woodhouse.
As one of the oldest music establishments in Leeds, the Charity, which has its foundations dating back over 100 years, has created a festive day of family entertainment and incredible live music in a bid to kick-start fundraising efforts for 2025.
On the day, you can expect live music from the remarkable talent of Christella Litras and Caution collective, with guest appearances from local musical sensations – Leroy Johnson, Cole, LC, Mica Sefia, Phenicia and more.
The mainstage lineup also includes performances from Music House’s very own Gospel Choir and Voices Community choir, showcasing some of the community projects that have been made available in recent years by the charity. Guests will also be treated to street food, mulled wine and hot chocolate, with bars serving Prosecco, Kirkstall Brewery Ipa’s, lager and much more. Wreath making, face painting, fire pits, santa’s grotto, raffle and local makers market are available, too.
All of the above for just £8 per adult and £4.5 per child – tickets available HERE
In order for the charity to maintain its efforts to make music more accessible to as many young people and adults in Leeds local communities, Music House needs fundraising support in 2025. External funding makes it possible to deliver the projects and keep the charity alive, but funding has become extremely competitive in recent years, meaning that we are having to find new ways to showcase the charity to the community and raise funds to keep it alive for many years to come.
Creative Director at Music House, Christella Litras: “We are so excited to be able to not only showcase the immense talent we have been able to foster at Music House in recent years, but to drive our fundraising efforts internally and create an event that will bring some festive fun to Leeds and its vibrant communities.”
Event Sponsor Tracy Parker of Mrs P Events: “This is such a worthwhile cause. I am so delighted to be able to offer spectacular festive decor and funding to this amazing event. We really hope to see as many people there as possible to ensure Music House begins 2025 with a bang!”
