Rifffest – on 29 January at Leeds’ Belgrave Music Hall

After an almost 2 year pause due to you know what, Leeds’ very own Brooders brings us their third instalment of RIFFFEST…….. and the Festival is clearly back with a punch, bringing some of the finest established and upcoming artists from the scene to Belgrave Music Hall for one day only of riffy brilliance.

Welsh noise-rockers Death Cult Electric fronted by the renowned producer Steffan Pringle are joined by riff monsters, Lyoness formed by former and current members of Gallows, Wonk Unit and Ghost Riders.

There’s a solid Northern contingent in the form of Hull’s New Meds, Manchester bred Faux Pas, Yorkshire 5-piece Avalanche Party and the newly formed locals Rubber Rose.

Also performing will be the London based, Korean/British duo Wooze, and dual lead vocal heavyweights Kid Kipichi topping off what looks to be an explosive lineup.

Here’s a little taster of what you may have missed at RIFFFEST #2.

If the festival’s last instalment back in 2020 was anything to go by, you are guaranteed an indefensible sonic assault on the senses. It’s certainly a good excuse to end dry January a couple of days early; you’ll be wanting a stiff drink or three to brace yourself for this!

At the time of writing. tickets are still available online from dice.fm or shop local at Jumbo Records.
