The 1975 – at First Direct Arena on 17 February

Hailing originally from Wilmslow and now based in Manchester, The 1975 will release their fourth album ‘Notes on a conditional form’ on 21 February, just after their appearance at Leeds First Direct Arena on 17 February, part of their latest UK tour.

The band’s genre has been described as pop rock, although there has been debate about this over the years.  Their first 3 albums all reached No.1 in the UK, with the second also hitting the top spot in the USA, all of which bodes well for the forthcoming release.

Together since high school days and having toured widely and undergone several transitions, band members are:

Matthew Healy, lead vocalist and rhythm guitar
Adam Hann lead guitar
Ross MacDonald bassist
George Daniel drummer

Their February Dates:

Nottingham 15th
Newcastle upon Tyne 16th
Leeds 17th
Bournemouth 19th
London 21st
Cardiff 23rd
Birmingham 25th
Liverpool 26th
Manchester 28th
Aberdeen 29th

and in March:
