The Imaginarium – Leeds Boutique and Independent Space

The Imaginarium has lined up a busy run of summer shows that offers something for lovers of all sorts of sounds.

Between now and September, brands and artists such as Alto Radio, Clandestino, Easy Street, Phase, On the Button, Deep Dig, The Secret DJ, Lukas Wigflex, Adam Shelton, Bobby O’Donnell, Markus Sommer, Dungeon Meat, Maybe Laura and many more will all play on the famously cosy dance floor.

Since launching in October last year, The Imaginarium has become an ever more vital community and arts space in the centre of Leeds. It encompasses a cafe, plant and record shop as well as a multi-use event space that pays host to a cultured mix of events that span many different sounds and scenes. It holds just 120 people so has a uniquely intimate vibe and independent personal touch alongside a potent yet crystal clear sound system.

It is a proudly diverse and inclusive place for people from all walks of life that is a vital outlet for music lovers and innovative creatives from the city of Leeds and beyond. ,

July welcomes Alto Radio in town to present their dream team of hosts, then takes in Dig Deep with tastemaking Argentinian selector Juann and resident Vassallo plus Catch with Lukas Wigflex, Freq with Jive Talk and Lick the Lid with long-time Birmingham mainstay Adam Shelton.

August sees legendary local house and techno label E-Numbers and Leeds’ esteemed Subterranea face off with Tussle as Bobby O’Donnell headlines, On The Counter with Julian Fijma, Planet Orange with Markus Sommerand Audial with hardcore house duo Brawther and Tristan da Cunha aka Dungeon Meat, then Lift Your Feet with Ben Hauke and Timing with the fast-rising Houghton fav Maybe Laura and Remi Mazet. 

September offers disco and adjacent sounds from Leeds’ long-running Clandestino, a special set from the veteran author, DJ and party animal The Secret DJ, plus more from top crews On The Button, Phaze, Easy Street, On Rotation, теплота and The Off Licence.
