The team at Northlight have been together since it was founded just over a year ago, taking over premises that had been unoccupied since pre-pandemic. The transformation, for those familiar with the space, is impressive, with plans made to continue a programme of improvements.
Great Eclectic Winter Fair 18 November
Some of the best small businesses, artists and makers from Leeds and across Yorkshire will be helping you get through your gift shopping list this year. Join them – support your local community and #shoplocal.
Choose from prints, original fine art, comics, handmade terrariums and contemporary homeware.
Try the excellent coffee and wide range of teas available, along with some cakes and other bakes from Potter’s, the Centre’s own cafe.
Entry is FREE. 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Winter Solstice Party 22 December
Building on the event’s roaring success last year, this Christmas event is a great way to enjoy the longest night of the year. Dance it away with DJs Templehead and Paul Digby at the helm.
DJ Templehead’s repertoire has included sets at Womad, Glastonbury, Eden Festival, Bearded Theory and Green Gathering. You’ll be dancing the night away to classic tunes we all know and love! Accompanied by our very own DJ Paul Digby who will spin you some of the best of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s dance.
Tickets are £18. Age 18+. 7 p.m. until midnight. The price includes delicious light bites from Potter’s at Northlight.
No formal dress code – come as you are or dress for a party!
