This summer, Rock School UK will once again open up their studios for five consecutive weeks of jamming, recording and gigging, allowing young musicians to live out their dreams of being a Rock Star!
Each course is a 6 day musical experience which provides nine to sixteen year olds (inclusive) with the platform to progress with their music; or indeed, try playing an instrument in a band for the very first time.
Working alongside professional musicians, the youngsters will form bands, learn their favourite cover versions, write their own original music and then record it in an industry-standard studio.
Each week culminates with a finale gig at a top national music venue in Leeds City Centre – The Wardrobe. It’s a fantastic reward for any budding musician!
Rock School UK is the brainchild of veteran musician Isaac Heywood, who’s travelled the world as a drummer for the last 30 years, working with the likes of Meatloaf, Corinne Bailey Rae, Omar, Peven Everrett Rae and Nightmares on Wax.

Rock School UK summer courses begin w/c 27th July and run for five consecutive weeks across two music studios in Leeds. Each course runs Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm at Eiger Studios and The Rock & Roll Circus Studios, with a finale gig each following Saturday at The Wardrobe.
