Popeyes® UK will open the doors (and lanes) to its latest Drive-Thru in Gildersome on Monday 28th October at 11 am, marking its 5th location in West Yorkshire and the 61st nationwide.
In true Popeyes® UK style, the brand will be offering hundreds of locals the chance to get their hands on the famous Chicken Sandwich that broke the internet – for free! Plus, seven lucky winners will score the ultimate prize of free chicken sandwiches for an entire year.
On opening day, the first three people in line, both on foot or in cars, will win free chicken sandwiches for a year, while the next 100 customers will receive a free chicken sandwich.
Can’t make it to the opening? No worries! Popeyes® is offering another chance to win the ultimate prize with a special giveaway, just for the launch: between Tuesday 29th October and Sunday 3rd November, one lucky customer will find a golden-wrapped Chicken Sandwich, also earning them the coveted free Chicken Sandwiches for a year.
Following the success of the Wakefield Drive-Thru launch—where hundreds of people queued for their free Chicken Sandwich—customers are encouraged to arrive early for the Gildersome opening.
The new West Yorkshire Drive-Thru will be located at Plantation Way, Unit 1A Wakefield Rd, Gildersome, Leeds LS27 7FP, and has created over 100 new jobs for the local community.
The site will feature 68 indoor seats and 16 outdoor seats, with a car park available for those who wish to dine inside.
The location will also offer a Drive-Thru lane and dedicated ‘Park & Serve’ bays, allowing customers to order and be served from the comfort of their vehicles.
