Ines Rae: at British Heart Foundation Home & Fashion Store on Kirkstall Road on 19 June

Ines Rae will play a fundraising gig for the British Heart Foundation‘s lifesaving research, following the release this year of two acclaimed singles.

Following the release of her single ‘Someone Else’s Heart’, penned biographically about her father’s experience, Ines was additionally named a celebrity ambassador of the NHS to promote the importance of organ and blood donation to a new audience. Her part in the campaign was a huge success, drumming up support from thousands of listeners worldwide, 40 million views worldwide, and even catching Kim Kardashian’s attention.

Rapidly surfacing as an exciting new pop act in the UK, fast-rising star Ines Rae has already garnered support from BBC Radio 1’s Jodie Bryant and Spotify editorials ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘New Pop UK’. Lauded by the likes of Clash, Notion and Wonderland, Ines Rae also featured as Line of Best Fit’s ‘Song of the Day’. Making waves with her vibrant brand of indie-pop, Ines has amassed over sixteen million likes on TikTok.

Aside from feverish support from the industry, Ines Rae has worked with the likes of Bastille and Fickle Friends and has written alongside prolific songwriters including Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga) Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran) and Adam Rust (Little Mix, Becky Hill, Nathan Dawe).

For ‘Never Get It Right’, a track featured on the official soundtrack for the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated Netflix series Emily In Paris, Ines also worked alongside award-winning artist/producer Shura. The song also reached the top 11 most Shazammed songs in the USA and in the top 50 globally.
