Canadian indie/rock favourites Arkells kick off the UK leg of their Between Us Tour on 24th September, in support of their latest album.
“This past spring, before Between Us came out, we did a handful of dates across the pond. The shows
were small and sweaty––exactly the kinds of rooms where you test out new material,” says frontman,
Max Kerman. “Since then, the record has taken on a life of its own, and we need to come back.”
Arkells have been touring steadily across the UK, EU and North America since they began to introduce
their latest album. Arkells’ most recent tour dates previewing Between Us have largely gotten up-close
and personal, striving to create unique experiences in a variety of settings. Their spring 2026 stops in
London and Manchester sold out immediately.
Arkells’ latest album Between Us is produced by LA based John Congleton (St. Vincent, Death Cab for
Cutie, Wallows). Comprised of 11 tracks, Between Us includes collaborative standouts, like the politically
charged #1 alt-radio single, Money (featuring Portugal. The Man), the disco-esque What’s On Your
Mind?, featuring San Francisco’s chill-wave kings Poolside, and the breezy tune, Ride (featuring
GROUPLOVE) which they took to the stage at JUNO Awards in the group’s hometown of Hamiton, ON at
the TD Coliseum. The band performed the upbeat track amidst a hyper-realistic viewer engaged set that
integrated greenery and Truman-esque break in the fourth wall bike riding.

Sept 26 – Manchester, UK – Manchester Club Academy

About ARKELLS:
Whether they’re rocking stadiums, making a beeline for the discotheque or gathering around the campfire, the implicit message of Arkells is always the same: everyone is welcome here. Since the beginning, Arkells have never wavered in their mission to be the house band that soundtracks the greatest nights of your life and emotional support in your darkest hours. Thanks to their steady and eclectic ethos, Arkells have continued to evolve musically, while making everyone feel right at home.
As one of the most heavily rotated acts on radio, and all-time record holders of the JUNO Award for “Group of the Year,” Arkells have extended their reach beyond borders by infiltrating all corners of pop culture; from global sports telecasts and top-tier video games to the stages of Coachella and Bonnaroo. The band’s longevity is ultimately a function of their commitment to never coasting on past glories and to always live completely in the moment.
Even through their impressive history together, Arkells still approach every gig as an opportunity to prove themselves to the unconverted; as they’re fond of saying, each time they take the stage, “we understand the assignment.” The first rule of rock ‘n’ roll is to play every show like it’s your last—but as Arkells prove night after night, it’s just as important to hold onto the unbridled energy and enthusiasm of your first.
