CORA is Launching an Evening Tasting Menu

Elizabeth Cottam’s latest venture is CORA, a contemporary bake house, dining room and wine cellar based in Boston Spa. It hasn’t taken long for her to expand to an evening tasting menu.

CORA only opened in spring 2021 as an innovative bakery with a patisserie-based brunch and daytime tasting menu. CORA’s new and diverse offering has been celebrated in Boston Spa for enriching the town’s culinary scene – and for its all-female senior team.

Elizabeth is known for introducing fine dining into occasions that are better known for informality and the casual social meet-up. Modern ingredients and intriguing culinary techniques are cleverly combined to create a revolution from convention.

Evening Tasting begins on 20th August, when a tasting menu of 8 small plates will be presented to customers on Friday and Saturday evenings. There will be no menu, either before or during the tasting. The price is £65 per person and you can make a reservation with a deposit. There is an option to include a drinks pairing.

CORA serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon and evening tasting experiences, alongside a selection of ever-changing speciality cakes, pastries and wines. Everything can be enjoyed in the small dining room or can be boxed and wrapped to be enjoyed at home.

CORA also holds a small selection of walk-in, on the day tables, for A la Carte dining, although tasting menus must be pre-booked.
